Recipe Hints Before You Begin


Each of our recipes has two parts:

  1. The first part is the narrative. It gives interesting and sometimes humorous information you can tell (or read) to your guests.
  2. The second part is the recipe itself.

If you would like to try one of our recipes, we are suggesting you copy it and paste it to a blank page and save it in your computer in a file. Print it out and you can use it as a shopping list as well as a hard copy to follow in the kitchen.

I also think it’s important to actually be able to interact with the recipe and make changes so it will benefit from your input. Make notes on your hard copy regarding how you feel the recipe could be improved, and then edit the computer copy. Be sure to date it so you will know which copy is the most recent. After several iterations you will have a recipe that reflects your tastes on one that you can truly call your own.
