Chippin’, dippin’, and sippin’ on a summer’s day (or evening) – does it get any better than that? With just a little bit of work, your patio fare will be the envy of your family and friends.
Your festivities need to start with a great margarita. DON’T buy mixes. Fresh ingredients make them taste so much better. Listed below is a recipe for the best margarita I’ve ever tasted.
Pitcher Two Servings
6 oz. 3 oz. Lime juice (two limes = about 3 oz.)
½ cup ¼ cup Powdered sugar
2 oz. 1 oz. Grand Marnier
2 oz. 1 oz. Triple Sec
6 oz. 3 oz. Tequila (may add more if you would like)
4 oz. 2 oz. Rose’s Sweetened Lime Juice
Combine in a cocktail shaker with ice (for two) or double the recipe and
add to a pitcher (for four). Shake (or stir) for 20 seconds.
Strain into a cold salt-rimmed glass, and garnish with a lime wheel.
Accompany your perfect margarita with guacamole and homemade chips (click on Time To Take Your Culinary Entertaining Outdoors) which are also made with fresh ingredients. It’s the perfect Rx for your summer patio entertaining.
